In the article, “Lower-Energy-Density Diets Are Associated with Higher Monetary Costs per Kilocalorie and Are Consumed by Women of Higher Socioeconomic Status,” by Pablo Monsivais, PhD, MPH, and Adam Drewnowski, PhD, which appeared in the May 2009 issue of the Journal (pages 814-822), there is an error in Table 3 on page 819. The standard deviation values for women in the highest tertile of dietary energy cost are incorrect. The correct values and standard deviations are listed here:
