In the “Position of the American Dietetic Association: Food and Water Safety” that appeared in the August 2009 Journal (pp 1449-1460), there is an error on page 1457. In the second paragraph of the third column, the word “certification” should be removed from the first sentence both times it appears. The corrected sentence should read as follows: “Within a foodservice operation, food and nutrition professionals should have the expertise to provide training from any of the three nationally recognized courses—ServSafe (35), SuperSafeMark (36), and Food Safety Management Principles (37).”
